A full building condition survey and report will include a fairly comprehensive assessment of the property to establish how it was built (and, where possible, when) and whether there are any signs of structural movement. It will also report on the condition of the external joinery (doors, windows, etc.), rainwater goods, the roof covering, and any other external finishes. It will then report on the construction and finishes of the interior and the condition of those finishes, reporting specifically on anything which we feel might affect a decision on whether to proceed with the purchase. We will also carry out a visual inspection of the various services installations, but will not, as a general rule, carry out any testing of those services.
